Visa is presenting a ‘virtual Visa card’ containing only as a cord of numbers on a pre-paid voucher. It’s just like Visa card but without the card - or even a bank account, for that matter. Australian people can buy the VCard from the retail shop just like a pre paid mobile phone account, paying via cash, debit or credit card. Customers who want to keep their plastic in the real world and use only the virtual cards online. They can also be purchased online just logon to www.virtualvcard.com. Each card contains a fixed price of up to $1000, excluding $5.50 as a processing fee, customer is provided a reference number at the time of purchase, the card will be activated by entering the account’s reference number.
