Officers Illegally Used Credit Cards for Personal Use

In London the Metropolitan Police investigated that some officers issued illegally used credit cards to the staff members for personal use. The London police arrested two detectives on suspicion of theft. But police did not confirm the report in World newspaper that around six million pounds and about twelve million dollar Cdn, was spent by all the officers illegally on credit cards for vacations or holiday trip, very expensive items like luxury wrist watches and flat screen TVs. a spokesman for the force said “The Director of Professional Standards is currently conducting a review around the issue and usage of the Met’s American Express cards, Any alleged criminality that is uncovered will be dealt with robustly. We have a comprehensive plan to recover any money that is outstanding.”
