A Man Deceived People: Done Debit and Credit Card Scam

Toronto police is taking public’s help in identifying a man who pretends to be a taxi driver and deceive people through a debit and credit card scam. According to police this fraud man has stolen thousands of dollars, generally after picking up late-night fares in the entertainment district. Det. Michael Kiproff of the fraud squad said that the victims are “are giving our suspect, the cab driver, their debit card or Visa card. He’s pretending to process it, which in fact it is not being processed, the cards are put through a modified PIN pad, which records the card number and pin.” Around thirty to forty people got suffered.
